SUMMARY
The Lead Facilities Technician will work under the direction of the Facilities Manager to ensure that safety, regular maintenance, landscaping and property upkeep is performed in a responsible, cost effective and timely manner. This position is responsible for completing or securing maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance as assigned by the Facilities Manager. The Lead will coordinate work, tickets and training to ensure that consistency of work meets department standards. The Facilities staff will report to the Lead Facilities Technician in the absence of the Facilities Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
In accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, SOPs, task guides and applicable laws, this position will train, plan and assign work. The Lead position requires a dynamic and accomplished leader that has strong leadership, organizational, conflict resolution, and motivational skills. They will plan, organize, direct, train coordinate and delegate responsibilities to the staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education (GED) and (5) five years of maintenance experience directly related to the knowledge, duties and responsibilities specified; to include at least (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Read, write and understand English; read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers,
clients and other employees of the organization.
MATHMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math and reading skills.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite including Planner.
REASONING ABILITY
This position requires a self-starting motivated team member that can apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Class III Gaming License issued from the Skokomish Tribal Gaming Commission and Valid Washington State Driver’s License.
